Ski in Jeans Day Recap

Ski in Jeans Day was absolutely phenomenal! Today we set the world record for the most people skiing or riding in jeans at one time with 3,114 denim-clad guests. Bluebird skies, 19" of fresh snow in the last 48 hours and all lifts open for skiing (except the Aerial Tram, which was open for sightseeing) made today arguably the best day of the young season thus far. Read on for a photo recap from today!

Great Stays in Jackson Hole

Winter is nearly upon us in Jackson Hole, as Opening Day on Nov. 24 marks the beginning of another season full of opportunities. We receive 400"-500" of average annual snowfall, adding to the allure of our home for travelers in search of unforgettable powder days and breathtaking views atop the Aerial Tram. This is the year to experience the majesty of Jackson Hole and we've come up with some accommodation recommendations for your visit, courtesy of Jackson Hole Resort Lodging (JHRL).

Sea of Dreams

A Guide to the Most Epic Ski Town for Non-Skiers

Jackson Hole's skiing may be formidable, but this resort is more than just steep runs and technical terrain. If your idea of a snow vacation doesn't involve pushing your mind and body to the limits on Corbet’s Couloir, perhaps the shopping, spas, gondola rides, sledding, snowshoeing, or numerous restaurants are more your speed. Maybe you want to chill at a luxury hotel, put your feet up by the fire at a cozy log cabin, or enjoy a brew with the backdrop of the Grand Tetons just a stone’s throw away. We get it, and we’re here to show you that with a myriad of experiences, Jackson Hole can be a non-skiers dream destination, too.

Snowy Start to October

This week, cold temps and precipitation in the high alpine provided a fresh blanket of snow across the Tetons. When the sun finally broke, Jackson Hole was rewarded with breathtaking views of glistening white peaks and prismatic foliage shimmering at lower elevations. Take a quick video + photo tour of this week's snow!
