What is a Via Ferrata?
“Via Ferrata” means “iron way” in Italian and dates back to WWI. It's a series of steel cables, ladders, and bridges bolted into the rock walls of Casper Bowl. With 17 unique routes, the Jackson Hole Via Ferrata is an adventure unlike any other, offering some of the most incredible views of the valley as climbers make their way up iron rungs, ladders and suspended bridges, all while secured to cables along the rocks.
