Bring your A Game. This year’s annual disc golf tournament is this Saturday, September 12. With over a decade of a 10 hole course, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has finally upped the anti! 18 permanent baskets and a complete redesign await the amateur or pro disc golfer. This year’s change has taken the course from an open field, uphill, throw-your-arm-out type course, to a finesse, shape-your-shot and hit-the-treed-gaps skilled course. It only held onto one of the original course holes. The 17 new holes will challenge any player.
Check out www.jacksonhole.com/disc-golf.html or like JH Disc Golf on Facebook for the most up-to-date info.
The course starts just above the Cody House and south of the Ropes course and shoots down the access road to hole #1. Hole 2 heads towards Tower 1, then the course ascends the Gros Ventre and Lower Tramline areas. It peaks near the top of the Union Pass lift, then descends open fields with long downhill shots on holes 15 and 16. The course then ends at the original hole 1 basket. Total distance on the course is 5,435′.
This tournament is part of the Teton Toss Point Series. One per month on Tuesdays or Thursdays, this is the 4th Teton Toss Point Series Event.
