With an already packed schedule of live music, after-parties and events, Rendezvous Music Festival solidifies Jackson Hole’s après-ski scene as one of the best in the world.

We all know that skiing and snowboarding is more than just the experience on snow. It’s a culture worth celebrating. It’s the community that forms around these sports. It’s the artistic energy that drives them. Whether it’s the music at après, the soundtrack to your favorite ski film or the banger blasting in your headphones as you rip the best line of your life, music is an inherent part of our culture. That’s why Jackson Hole Mountain Resort throws the Rendezvous Music Festival — bringing big-name artists to a stage at the base of one of the best ski resorts in the world.

Rendezvous 2026 features The Flaming Lips, Umphrey’s McGee, Souls of Mischief and Blake Horstmann. Past years have included artists like Mt. Joy, The Avett Brothers, The Head and the Heart, The Revivalists, Elle King and Fitz and the Tantrums — just to name a few. The talent this festival attracts might make it the largest music event where people show up in ski boots (though, it’s recommended to take them off before the show).

The format is a bit different this year. Rendezvous Music Festival will take place Saturday, March 28, 2026. At just $49 for GA, we wanted to ensure festival-goers get the most out of their weekend, so the final day of Road to Rendezvous will be the night before on Friday, March 27, 2026, featuring a free show by Souls of Mischief directly beneath the legendary Aerial Tram. Prices go up March 16, 2026, so be sure to secure your tickets now for the best price.

Snow Conditions

What makes Rendezvous one of the most unique music festivals out there is that your days start with skiing and snowboarding — and not just any day on the slopes. This is Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, where it might just be the best day of the year.

In 2023, 30 inches of blower powder fell during Rendezvous weekend, with another 20 inches in the days prior. Conditions were all-time, and the festival felt like a snow globe as heavy snowfall reflected the lights and visuals during the shows. On the other end of the spectrum, this time of year can deliver incredible corn cycles and perfect, slushy spring afternoons — the ultimate bluebird days that call for a quintessential après session.

If a weekend in Jackson Hole — ripping laps and jamming to great music — doesn’t get you fired up, I don’t know what will. But if you need a few more reasons to join us on March 27 and 28 (or just want a good giggle), keep reading.

Six Reasons You Should Come to Rendezvous Music Festival

1. “The best live band in the world, bar none.” — The Times (UK)

Whether you’re reading a review in Vice or talking to some dude named Chad in San Diego who swears he’s seen The Flaming Lips 473 times (oddly specific, I know), it’s no secret they’re known for putting on one of the best live performances out there. And having Grand Teton National Park as your backdrop certainly won’t hurt.

2. Grand Teton National Park

Did I mention that Grand Teton National Park is, like, right there? Jackson Hole Mountain Resort borders the Park. You can ski straight to the venue, then watch the sunset behind the Tetons while enjoying the show.

3. A Great Reason to Take Ullr Shots

Some people love a sunny, spring Rendezvous. But if you’re powder-crazed, powder-starved, or just a normal person who enjoys a few fresh turns before seeing The Flaming Lips, it might be worth taking tangible action toward summoning the snow.

4. Slush Smackin’

Alright — what if the Ullr shots don’t work? What if it doesn’t snow?

I know I might shed a tear… out of happiness. Because that probably means I’ll be ripping sunny Casper laps, enjoying soft spring snow, and working on my goggle tan.

6. Corbet’s Cabin Beer

Did you know you can just… grab a beer at Corbet’s Cabin? You might need a waffle, too. But it’s hard to imagine something better than a cold beer at the Top of the World on a sunny spring day. You can do this any day of the season, but it makes for a pretty legendary pregame move before a music festival.

There are endless reasons to join us for Rendezvous weekend. But it’s our 60th Anniversary, so six extra reasons to come to come felt fitting. Add a zero to the end of six and boom — 60. Math.
