Steep & Deep Snowboard Camp

What makes Jackson Hole a mecca for snowboarders? Extreme terrain and extreme riding culture. Dive into the world-class terrain and fun-loving snowboarding community by spending an intensive 4 days with our team of professional coaches.

Steep & Deep Snowboard Campers are grouped by ability and aggressiveness.  Our top coaches teach moves like the Tip Roll and the Tokyo Drift and help students control their speed on steep slopes. Students learn terrain evaluation and avalanche safety awareness. Groups may head out of bounds to explore Jackson's legendary backcountry.

Camaraderie and community make this camp a transformative experience for everyone involved. And the fun continues after the lifts close; camp tuition includes aprés events, tech talks and an awards dinner with prize giveaways.

The experience is a seminal one for students and coaches alike. "I am amazed at the quality of big mountain and backcountry coaching that has developed at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort," said Mikey Franco, Steep and Deep coach and American Association of Snowboard Instructors Elite Team Member. "The coaches take such personal pride in teaching campers advanced techniques and sharing the experience of riding the mountain like a local."

Groups gel and many campers come back for more, like Jeffery Smith, who has participated in Steep & Deep Snowboard Camp four times.  "The camaraderie between the people in the camp and the instructors is tremendous and makes the whole experience worthwhile above and beyond the great instruction," he said. "The number of repeat campers has always left a big impression on me and I think most of us who attend realize that financially the camp is a bargain when one considers the personal instruction, meals, off slope activities, and the prize drawings at the banquet."
