Beginner Snowboard Lessons

Our professional coaches have once again teamed up with Burton Snowboards to offer the innovative Learn-to-Ride curriculum. Boards, boots and bindings specifically designed for beginners make learning to snowboard easy and fun. Join other like-minded riders and come learn the fundamentals of snowboarding.

Reservations Required

To ensure availability, lesson reservations should be made as far in advance as possible. We highly recommend that you purchase your lift access at the same time you purchase your lesson to ensure you will have lift access for all of your private lesson days. If you are unable to purchase lift access due to the resort being sold out please call 877-482-1466 to inquire, and have your order number confirming your lesson purchase ready when calling.

Beginner Class Lessons

Time	Full day: 10:00am - 4:00pm Group leaves meeting area at 10:00am. Please arrive at  9:45am for group placement.
Why This Lesson	Personalized attention within our small groups will create the optimal learning environment while keeping safe distances. Lunch included and is your time to take a break and refuel, then regroup in the afternoon to practice your skills and explore our intermediate to advanced terrain.
Meeting place	Meet outside Solitude Station at the  BLACK FLAGS  at 9:45am. Access the Solitude Station through our private Solitude Station line located at the base of our Sweetwater Gondola lift. A lift ticket is NOT required to ride Sweetwater Gondola to Solitude Station. You DO need a lift ticket if you are participating in a lesson.
What to Know	• If renting a snowboard and boots, please allow a 1/2 hour to 45 minutes to complete the rental process. • Make sure you are equipped with gloves and goggles before you arrive!

Reservations for Snowboard Class Lessons are required. Due to limited availability, we recommend reserving your lessons as far in advance as possible.

Private lessons are the ultimate CUSTOMIZED mountain experience. Enjoy personalized coaching with one of our top professionals who will tailor the lesson to your goals and expectations.

Private lessons offer individualized coaching, lift line priority, and flexible meeting times and locations. Early Tram and Early Gondola access upgrades are available daily in limited quantities. Please call 307-739-2797 to inquire.

Cancellation Policy

Guests can cancel without penalty if more than 24 hours’ notice is given.

If cancellation occurs within 24 hours, a 50% cancellation fee will apply. If the cancellation is related to COVID-19, the cancellation fee will be waived.
