Ride the Gondola

Come and explore the high alpine terrain of the Tetons, with activities and dining for all atop the Bridger Gondola. The 12-minute ride in a safe and private gondola cabin whisks you more than 2,700 vertical feet above the valley floor.

The Bridger Gondola is now closed. The Aerial Tram is open for sightseeing through October 9.

June 11 - September 11, 2022, Bridger and Sweetwater Gondola access is included with your Summer Sightseeing Ticket. Teewinot chairlift access is not included with this ticket and is reserved for Bike Park bikers only. This sightseeing ticket does not include bike park access. Upgrade your sightseeing ticket at the resort for $15 to include bike park access.

Via Ferrata

Via Ferrata is Jackson Hole Mountain Resort's guided climbing experience. Let our knowledgeable guides lead you on a climbing adventure through the high alpine terrain at Jackson Hole. This memorable experience takes you above the valley floor, across suspended bridges, and along granite walls. Via Ferrata is perfect for families, groups, or individuals 10 years of age or older.

Off-Piste Market

The market offers a full espresso bar, gourmet food, made-to-order waffles, beer, wine, sloshies, and small essentials like sunscreen, batteries, and even phone-charging stations.

Piste Mountain Bistro

June 12 - September 11 (Closed Fridays & Saturdays) 

Piste Mountain Bistro, located at the top of the Bridger Gondola, offers table-service dinner and a lively bar during the summer season. Enjoy not only seasonal dishes as part of the Rocky Mountain cuisine but also a view of the entire valley of Jackson Hole.

Hike to the Top

Enjoy panoramic views of Jackson Valley and the surrounding mountains from any of the trails leading up to or starting at Bridger Gondola. Begin at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort on the Wildflower Trail to experience nearly 5 miles of scenic trail ending at Rendezvous Lodge. From June 12 - September 11, Take the Bridger Gondola back down to the base for free.

Evening Gondola

June 12 - Sept 8 (closed Fri & Sat)

Evening Bridger Gondola rides are the best way to end your lively day at the mountain. Offering unparalleled views, a lively dining experience at Piste Mountain Bistro, and the best spot to take in an alluring sunset vista while you cap off your day with drinks on The Deck.

The evening gondola is free if you have a sightseeing lift ticket from that day, a summer sightseeing season pass, a winter 2023 full-season pass, or a reservation at Piste for that day. You may also hike to the top and ride the gondola down for free. Last gondola up at 8:30 pm, last gondola down at 9 pm.

The Deck at Piste

June 12 - Sept 8 (closed Fri & Sat)

The best view in Jackson Hole can be found at The Deck. Don't miss the summer menu of appetizers and shared plates from the chefs at Piste Mountain Bistro. There is no better way to cap off an amazing day in the great Jackson Hole outdoors than drinks and appetizers on The Deck.
Last gondola up at 8:30pm, last gondola down at 9pm.

Summer Insider's Guide

Backcountry Skiing

Guests are allowed to ski in the backcountry accessible through our boundary gates located near the top of the Aerial Tram, but as part of JHMR’s special use permit with Bridger Teton National Forest, no skiing is permitted within the ski area boundary after the winter operating season. Guests with ski gear will be allowed to load the Tram, but not the gondolas.
