Our amazing Indian Summer has finally come to an end. We have snow in the high country, temperature highs of 40s in the valley and upper 20s in the mountains. It’s quite possible the snow is here to stay.
The snowmakers have fired up the guns this week as temperatures dropped into the low 20s. The snowmakers work 5 days a week with 12 hour shifts and can pump a total of 4000 gallons per minute in the right conditions. With one month to go until opening day, Jackson Hole is going to be covered in white soon.
