Let the games begin! Jackson Hole is finally in the flow of winter and with consistent snowfall in the forecast from now through next week, we can finally open more lifts and terrain for the season. The storm that hit Tuesday through Wednesday afternoon dropped over 10  inches of snow at the resort, quickly reminding everyone that mother nature can turn ON at any point.

Sublette, Thunder, Bridger, Casper, and Marmot are all ready to open on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Operations and Ski Patrol are still figuring out which trails will be open for skiing and riding based on how much snow falls on the tail end of this storm. Early season conditions do still exist at every elevation, so please ski with caution on newly opened trails; we have plenty of season ahead of us JHMR! Stay tuned on JH Insider and our social channels for trail updates prior to Saturday morning.

In addition to more lifts opening, Lift Ops will start loading chairs on the Sweetwater Gondola, Teewinot, and Apres Vous at 8:30 a.m. for the rest of the season beginning on Saturday. Who knows, Big Red might be ready for skiers and riders sooner than we thought a few days ago. Keep your fingers crossed for another burst of snow next week! . The Aerial Tram will continue to load daily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for sightseeing and waffles until it opens for skiers and riders.

Adding to an already stacked day of new lift and trail openings, Food & Beverage will open Piste, Off-Piste, Rendezvous Lodge, and Casper Restaurant on Saturday. RPK3, the General Store, and Cafe 6311 are already serving up lunch and snacks for you to refuel.

For all multi-resort pass holders and day ticket purchasers: don't forget that reservations are required before arriving at the lifts. You can reserve your days in advance online for Mountain Collective, IKON, and daily lift tickets.

If you've been to Teton Village this season you will notice the parking lot gates. The Teton Village Association (TVA) has automated the parking gate process to increase efficiency and accuracy on each parking lot's real-time capacity (download JH Insider to see parking capacity). As with anything new, there is always an adjustment period and learning curve. To help answer all of your parking questions, we got the breakdown from TVA on what's been updated, best practices for parking in the village, parking rates, and alternative ways of getting to Teton Village.
