Whew! Its been a big week here at Jackson Hole. We had all-time stormy conditions directly into blue bird powder. We teamed up with JHMR athlete Mark Carter during the storm cycle to bring you a fun and stormy edit. Then today there is nothing better than fresh powder in sunny conditions after a massive, multi-day storm. Find some interesting stats from the JH Avalanche Center below.
“This storm brought 40 inches to the upper elevations and 21 inches to the base of the resort. At the upper elevations, this season continues to be our second best in over 40 years with respect to both snow depths and season snowfall totals for Rendezvous Bowl. Yesterday’s snow depth of 42 inches at the base tied a record for the deepest depth on that date (1/11).”
