An early-season storm brought over a foot of fresh snow to upper elevations at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort this week. After a long, beautiful and warm fall in the Tetons, the fresh coat of white blanketing our slopes was a sight for sore eyes as we close in on a month until Opening Day.
Looking ahead to next week, the Tetons could see another foot or so of fresh snow. All signs are pointing to winter's return at long last and we're excited to welcome everyone back for another season in Jackson Hole.
Opening Day is November 25, and with that in mind, it's time to start planning out your winter stoke. We have a few promotions that can get you and your ski squad here for less.

Reflecting on seeing Jackson Hole Mountain Resort for the first time in 2016, I felt an overwhelming sense that possibilities were vast and endless. Wide-eyed and a bit naïve, I solely envisioned the long-awaited fulfillment of my dreams as I stepped off the Aerial Tram at the summit. Immediately, I knew this place would transform my life. I also knew it was exactly where I was supposed to be, an elusive feeling many in their early twenties yearn to feel.
Thunder Construction Update
Here's some news to get you pumped for winter: all 13 Thunder lift towers were installed on Monday! This exciting news means that winter is approaching and we're closer to getting you out on our new and improved Thunder lift.

Every drive feels magical again, even if you've been driving that same road every day of the year. And the cool, crisp air energizes you, like the purest cup of coffee imaginable.
