The Rendezvous Mountain Hillclimb returns August 3! Racers ascend 4,139 vertical feet to the top of Rendezvous Mountain in this unique annual event. Last year, world-renowned runner Joseph Gray broke the one-hour mark for the first time ever; moments later another world-class runner, Tyler McCandless, also broke the elusive mark.

The Hillclimb has been heralded as the most demanding hill climb running event in the West since its inception. This non-profit annual race is run in honor of our friend and longtime JHMR Aerial Tram mechanic Chris Onufer (Captain "X"), who on March 7th, 2012, tragically passed away in an avalanche. To keep the spirit of running alive for future generations, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort donates 100% of the proceeds to the trails division of Friends of Pathways in the name of Chris Onufer.

Online Registration ($40) ends Thursday, Aug. 1 at 5 pm MST. If space permits, you may still register in person ($50) on Friday, Aug. 2 from 4-6 pm during race packet/goodie bag pickup in Teton Village. There is NO REGISTRATION day-of. We strongly encourage you to register for the Hillclimb ASAP.
