White Christmas in Jackson Hole: Storm drops another 16 inches of Snow, Great Holiday Events Announced
(December 22, 2014), Teton Village, WY It's a White Christmas at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR), with almost three feet of snow fallen in the last 10 days, and more on the way through the holiday. In the last two days JHMR has received 16 inches of fresh snow, bringing season snow totals to over 150 inches. "Jackson Hole has been blessed by Mother Nature this winter, and we are so pleased to have such spectacular conditions for our guests this holiday season," stated JHMR President Jerry Blann. "Great on-mountain conditions combined with an amazing line up of holiday events, makes this time of year in Teton Village a truly memorable experience," Blann noted.
An Otter Body Experience: Jeremy Jones, Bryan Iguchi and Travis Rice join together for a special roundtable in Jackson Hole: December 28th, 2014
This holiday season just got a bit more special with a unique evening in Teton Village featuring Travis Rice, Jeremy Jones and Bryan Iguchi, who will be taking an in-depth look into the film Jeremy Jones' Higher. This exclusive event hosted in partnership with Asymbol, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Teton Gravity Research brings together these three men, who represent some of the most prominent and successful snowboarders in the world. The evening will focus on the descent of The Grand Teton's Otter Body route using video footage and photography from the film. Travis will moderate a discussion with Jeremy and Bryan followed by an audience Q&A session.
"We are thrilled to be hosting An Otter Body Experience later this month," stated Anna Cole, Communications Manager at JHMR. "Having Jeremy Jones, Travis Rice and Bryan Iguchi together, and using the mountains they all love, the Tetons, as the discussion point will create an inspiring evening for all, whether you are a snowboarder or not," Cole continued.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance at JH Sports and Teton Village Sports. Seating is limited, so pre-purchasing tickets is encouraged. Proceeds from the evening will benefit Protect Our Winters (POW), the environmental non-profit of which Jones is a founding member.
