Jackson Hole Mountain Resort: Leading Rocky Mountains in Snow

Over 100 inches & 100% Open this Week

(December 2, 2014), Teton Village, WY --With over 100 inches of snow blanketing the Tetons, the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) will open 100% of terrain with the Aerial Tram and Sublette chairlifts opening on Friday, December 5th,  accessing 4,139 vertical and 2,500 acres of terrain.  Jackson Hole, recently voted #1 resort by Forbes, is leading the Rocky Mountain region in total snow fall and snow depths.  This Friday, the Aerial Tram and Sublette chairlift will open providing access to the entire mountain including Rendezvous Bowl and legendary Hoback area.  "Jackson Hole has been getting hit by storm after storm- the mountains received over 80 inches of snow in the last three weeks, " stated Vice President of Operations, Tim Mason.  "With 54 inch base depth, Jackson Hole is leading the ski industry in snow, and the mid-mountain is skiing like mid-winter right now.  Our mountain staff has done an exceptional job to get the entire mountain open this week," Mason went on to note.
