6/14/16 | Father’s Day Weekend at JHMR: New Dining Options, New Daily Lift Service and All Summer Activities Open

(Teton Village, WY June 14, 2016), This weekend, starting Saturday, June 18th all summer activities, lifts and restaurants officially open for the summer season at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR). Through Labor Day weekend, the Aerial Tram, Bridger Gondola and Teewinot chairlift will be operating daily, all accessed through one affordable and easy pass, the Tram-Tri Pass. This unprecedented lift service is now complimented by great dining options at the Village base, and atop the lifts. A new feature added to the Grand Adventure Park, The Drop Tower also opens this weekend.

This Sunday to celebrate Father’s Day JHMR is offering lots of great free programs for both dads and kids. This Sunday fathers are offered free tram access all day, and that tram ticket provides free access to the Bridger Gondola, now running all day. To say thank you to all the fathers in Jackson Hole, JHMR is adding one nice cold beverage on the house at any of the three restaurants at the top of the gondola with their free tram ticket. In addition to the free tram service for fathers, the Bike Park will be free on Sunday for all kids 17 years and younger as part of Take Kid Mountain Biking Day. New this summer, the Rendezvous Lodge located atop the Bridger Gondola, is offering breakfast, lunch and dinner options at three different restaurants within the building. Off Piste Market, from 9 am serves up breakfast and lunch options, in addition to beer, wine, espresso bar and grab-and-go snacks. Outside, the popular Deck @ Piste, opens daily at 3 pm, for al fresco dining from the popular Deck menu. Piste Mountain Bistro is open for dinner, starting at 6 pm. This exciting new restaurant has expansive floor to ceiling windows that open onto the Deck and jaw dropping views of the valley. Friendly staff welcomes guests into the stylish but casual setting, serving a diverse menu that highlights shared plates and daily specials. Daytime gondola service is included in the new Tram Tri-Pass, and the lift opens for free nightly at 4:30 pm.

“Adding new daytime lift access in addition to the popular evening service on the Bridger Gondola greatly enhances the options for our guests this summer,” stated Jerry Blann, President of JHMR. “The restaurants at the top, overseen by Executive Chef Wes Hamilton, provide high quality new mountain dining options. Now with Off Piste Market, Piste and Deck Restaurants, guests are going to enjoy the mountain views, whether it be before or after a hike along the improved trail system, or after the scenic gondola ride up,” Blann went on to note.
