12/15/15 | JHMR Opens All Lifts, including the NEW Teton Lift This Weekend
(December 15, 2015), Teton Village, WY – With winter storms the last few days dropping almost a foot of snow in the Tetons, and more expected over the next week, the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) is pleased to announce the Sublette Chair will open tomorrow, Wednesday, December 16th, with more lifts and terrain opening for the weekend. On Friday, December 18th the Aerial Tram will open for the season and on Saturday, December 19th, the official 50th Anniversary celebration date, the resort will open the new Teton Lift, Eagle’s Rest, Sweetwater, Moose Creek and Union Pass chairs.

Photo Credit: Patrick Nelson, taken 12.15.15 Saturday, December 19th is the Official 50th Celebration, with a “First Chair” ceremony at the Teton Lift around 9:30am. After the lifts close JHMR welcomes all skiers and snowboarders to join a fantastic community celebration that kicks off at 4:30pm at the base of the Bridger Gondola with Santa arriving on his secret 50th sleigh at 5.00pm sharp. Enjoy outdoor music, a free showing of the 50th anniversary movie Born to Be Wild and an electrifying fireworks show that will be set to five decades of music.
