Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is more than just a wintry powder paradise. When the winter melts away and summer arrives in Teton Village, the slopes give way to a vast network of wildflower-blanketed trails all the way up to the top of the tram. These trails in Teton Village are not only coveted for their wintertime amusement – they offer a serene break from the heavily-trafficked park trails and the hustle and bustle of town. There’s something for everyone. Whether you’re a hiker, power walker, or a trail runner – the JHMR trails truly have it all, and offer a great view while you trot. If you haven’t had a chance to experience the Hoback, Wildflower, or Cirque Trail, do yourself a favor and hit the trails before the snow starts falling. The #trailstartshere in Teton Village.

The Rendezvous Mountain Hillclimb – one of the most demanding running events in the West with over 4100′ vertical.

The goal of the #trailstartshere challenge was to get runners and hikers out on the trails in Teton Village with some friendly competition. For the second year, JHMR has hosted this challenge to see who can rack up the most mileage and vertical feet in our Strava group. Our challenge ran from June 15th to September 1 and invited locals, visitors, and first timers to join in on the challenge by tracking their runs and hikes that started in Teton Village. We ended our challenge with 52 participants, 1,817 miles, 653,122 feet and prizes aplenty. This year our winners are being rewarded with ski days at JHMR, shoes from TVS, hydration packs, Volkl skis, and 1 grand prize winner receives a Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Grand Pass.
