Day 1 of the Jackson Hole Junior IFSA Regional competition was held today under partly cloudy skies and premier snow conditions. Yesterday over 12 inches of fresh snow blanked the resort filling in Toilet Bowl and making the competition venue, landings, and lines perfectly buffed for the 93 athletes who entered. Ages ranged from under 12 to 18 in both the boys and girls divisions. Spectators enjoyed solid skiing all around and a few big airs to please the parents and causal observers who stopped on the side of Amphitheater. The day 2 stage is set for Tower 3 off the Thunder Lift, one of Jackson’s classic in-bounds couloirs that feeds into the bottom of Toilet Bowl. See below for a full list of the results.
