Accessibility & Meeting Places
Adaptive ski groups meet at the Bridger Center and the Kids Ranch.
Turn into the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort main entrance and follow the road toward the Four Seasons Resort. At the stop sign adjacent to the main parking lot, turn right. Pass Snake River Lodge on your left, and make a left turn onto a narrow road that lies just before the Four Seasons. This road leads to a parking lot on the west side of the Bridger Center. At the top of the wheelchair-accessible ramp is a door which opens to the 1st floor and elevator.
At the stop sign beside the main parking lot, turn left and follow the curving road all the way to the upper Cody parking lot. Make a right and wind around to the top of the lot. Continue under the skier bridge, past the Teton Club on your right and park in one of the handicap spaces at the end of the road. The Kids Ranch is on your left. An elevator is in the basement, directly in front of the parking lot. Take the elevator to the top floor of the Kids Ranch which opens onto our reception desk in the main lobby.
Adaptive Skiing Awareness Day
Everyone knows someone who lives with a disability. Come learn about the winter sports opportunities available for people of all ages and abilities at the 3rd Annual Adaptive Awareness Day, a free event hosted by Jackson Hole Mountain Sports School’s Adaptive Sports Program and Teton Adaptive Sports. Experience adaptive ski options then help spread the word of the possibilities available to adaptive athletes. Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to try sit-skiing, 3 tracking and blind skiing. Participation includes complementary access to the Teewinot lift.
