Vertical Foot Club
The Vertical Foot ClubTM is a fun, exciting, and challenging way to keep track of all those runs you're racking up. Do you have what it takes to reach a million vertical feet? Vertical Foot Club members are recognized for their achievements at several levels: 100,000 feet in one week, and also lifetime totals of 300,000, 500,000, and 1,000,000 feet!
Ski The Big One!!
Ski the Big One is not a race. It is an achievement standard for accomplished skiers. If you are able to reach the outstanding mark of 1,000,000 vertical feet you will have skied the equivalent of 242 trams or nearly 200 vertical miles! The club was first introduced over 30 years ago and has over 3000 active members. JHMR honors the 350 + skiers that have reached the incredible 1 million foot goal and encourages everybody to do their best and enjoy the experience.
Go For the Gold!!
Your certificate of achievement for attaining 100,000 vertical feet counts as you Go For the Gold! Lifetime totals of 300,000, 500,000 and 1,000,000 vertical feet are rewarded with certificates of achievement and distinctive, western belt buckles.
Teton county residents and season pass holders are not eligible to participate.
Keep track of how many times you ski/snowboard each lift, then use our handy dandy vertical foot calculator (see below) to get your total feet skied.
