Jessica Baker’s Signature Camps
Meet Jessica Baker:
Jessica Baker’s CV stats are impressive: Founder of Ski Divas and former World Tour Freeskiing Champion; more than 11 years logged as a ski guide. And yet, it’s her personal history in the mountains that truly speaks to her skill as a mentor and instructor. Growing up in the Selkirk Mountains of northern Idaho, Jessica spent her childhood on skis and developed instincts on- and off-piste. Her skiing nature knows no boundaries: she’s achieved worldwide success in two different worlds – ski racing and big-mountain freeskiing – and bagged first ski descents in the Chugach, Tetons, Sawtooth, New Zealand Alps and Selkirk mountains. And she’s skied the world’s most famous peaks, from the Grand Teton to Denali, Mont Blanc, Pan d’ Radou La Meije, Mt. Aspiring, and more. She is certified as PSIA-III DECL, WFR, Avalanche III-Guide, AMGA- RIC, and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Mountain Sports School trainer.
Winters now find Jessica guiding with Jackson Hole Alpine Guides. In the shoulder seasons, she spends summers guiding for Exum Mountain Guides and springs with Alaska Rendezvous Heli-Ski Guides. In her free time, she climbs, gardens, practices yoga and, of course, skis.
Sponsors: Mountain Athlete, Smith Optics, Dynastar-Look-Lange, Pistil, Bern, Powderhorn, Core Concepts, Life-Link, Bridgedale, and Garmont.
