(Teton Village, WY. January 27, 2009) –

Epic Conditions
Winter unleashed its full force on the Tetons, plastering Jackson Hole with 62” of snow since Tuesday January 19th. Mountain conditions are at all time highs, from over the head powder on the Hobacks to fresh groomed corduroy on Sundance and Gros Ventre. The hollering of skiers leaving trenches behind them down Rendezvous Bowl was audible across the hill. Many images shot this weekend told a thousand words, but this video from KGB Productions—shot inbounds in Jackson Hole on Sunday, told a million. Click on the image to watch.

100% Open
On the heels of Casper Bowl and the Crags yesterday, Saratoga Bowl opened today. Kodak-worthy powder blanketed this legendary terrain making landings softer than the proverbial feather bed—easily topping the list of best all time runs for any skier.

Best of all—another storm is scheduled to touch down this weekend—and with the current base coverage conditions are likely to be top tier once again. As of yesterday, Jackson Hole had received 239 inches of snow--more than any other major resort in the Rockies, except for neighboring Grand Targhee, which has received 249 inches.
