Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Donates $50,000 to Community Resource Center

(Jackson, WY, June 9, 2015) - Today Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) donated $50,000 to the Jackson Hole Community Resource Center (CRC).  This marks the second contribution of this size from JHMR to CRC, demonstrating the company's commitment to addressing the housing issues in Jackson Hole.

"We are so grateful to receive such a significant financial contribution," stated CRC Executive Director, Mary Erickson.  "Workforce housing is a major issue and our organization is dedicated to finding real solutions. There is no quick and easy fix to our housing problem, and it will take the commitment of business leaders, like JHMR, the non-profit community and government, working together to create viable and sustainable solutions.  JHMR's generous donation today, along with their commitment to building employee housing, reinforces their role as a true leader in our community's efforts to house our workers," Erickson went on to note.

Last year the CRC donated $155,000 in direct assistance for housing, and last year, JHMR contributed $50,000 to that fund.  "JHMR is proud to be giving back to our community, but we also know it takes communitywide engagement to create positive change," stated Jerry Blann, JHMR President.  "We trust that CRC will use this gift to help educate, engage, and galvanize the local business community, our significant non-profit community  and our elected officials around the housing challenges we face," Blann went on to note.
