Roosevelt Collier with Jelly Bread at the Mangy Moose

Date: Sat Mar 19, 2016
Time: 9pm - 12am
Location: Mangy Moose - Teton Village

Buy tickets for this event at the Mangy Moose Market and Cellars, or online: www.etix.com

$10 in advance, $15 day of show

Sacred steel guru Roosevelt Collier is spreading his wings this winter, bringing his branded “Get Down” all-star shows to new territories. For the first time in Jackson Hole, he comes to the famed Mangy Moose in Teton Village, Wyoming for a throwdown after the Jackson Hole Rendezvous Fest featuring Zac Brown Band and Chris Robinson Brotherhood. If this is any indication of what 2016 will bring, it’s safe to say it will be a landmark year for Roosevelt “The Dr.” Collier.

Opener "Jelly Bread" has risen from Reno/Lake Tahoe area favorites into a powerhouse quintet with a high-energy calling card that delivers a high-energy, chameleonic playlist all over the United States. Jelly Bread’s distinct style is identified by a blend of desert twang meeting the urban tones of funk and rock. Exceptional songwriting and storytelling interlaced with four part harmonies, intricate “in-the-pocket” drum and bass grooves, swampy lap steel guitar, dirt under the fingernails guitar licks, tasty talkbox, “take-’em-to-church” organ come together into a sound that is downright appetizing.
