  • Encourage innovation with resort-wide goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 5% and waste by 5% by 2020
JHMR has a number of resort-wide quantitative environmental targets to achieve 10% changes in resources use by 2015 (10 x 15). The quantitative goals are based on intensity measurements per guest visit (to encourage business efficiency without penalizing growth) from a 2009 baseline (when the new tram and Bridger restaurant were fully operational).

 JHMR aims to reduce by 2015 its greenhouse gas emissions by 10% per guest visitor relative to a 2009 baseline.  The 10x15 target is illustrated below.
