Will Taggart is from Logan, Utah and has been kayaking for 24 years starting at 13 years old. He started out paddling with a trained slalom C-1 racer Timothy Trezise and practiced in Logan, Ut on the local runs and with a slalom course on the Logan River. Slalom racing, river running and freestyle kayaking were all introduced at an early age. His first slalom race was at 15 years old and his first freestyle competition was at 16. The "Ender Hole" was his local play spot on the Logan River where some of the first controlled cartwheels were happening in the industry. He paddled for Dagger kayaks on the competitive freestyle circuit through College. Graduating from Utah State University Will moved to Jackson, Wyoming for the long paddling season that he missed out on living in Utah. He's since been involved with the paddle sports industry working at Rendezvous River Sports 15 years or so. Still paddling nearly every day with the Rendezvous Crew his passion for kayaking lives on
Will started kitesurfing on water and snow in 2006 and instantly became addicted. Wind powered skiing, snowboarding, and surfing filled his off season and winters. He became a pro snowkiter for Ozone in 2009. Since he and his crew have pioneered many new areas and are taking snowkiting from the flats deep into the mountains. Filming and photography have always been his passion and continue to be his creative outlet.
