Rock Springs Yurt at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
Winter or summer, come experience the joys of a secluded camping spot without all the hassles. The Rock Springs Yurt is nestled in a meadow at the mouth of the Rock Spings Canyon. In the summer, hike 2.5 miles to the yurt, 1,400 vertical feet above the valley floor. In the summer, ski or snowboard down to it or snowshoe up. Porters and guides are available. Bridger Teton National Forest Camping
Bridger Teton National Forest manages campgrounds in some wonderful ares of Jackson Hole including the Red Hills and along the Snake River. There are 15 Jackson Area Campgrounds, 6 Buffalo Area campgrounds. The BTNF Teton District also has many 'dispersed' unimproved camping areas.
Grand Teton National Park Campgrounds
Grand Teton National Park's Camping page has information on 6 different Campgrounds from the Gros Ventre Campground in the South of the park (closest to Jackson) to Flagg Ranch Campground just north of the Park.
Yellowstone National Park Campgrounds
Yellowstone National Park has a 12 seperate campgrounds, and they're as diverse as the park itself. Seven of the campgrounds are operated by the Park Service: Indian Creek, Lewis Lake, Mammoth, Norris, Pebble Creek, Slough Creek, and Tower Fall. Xanterra Parks & Resorts operates campgrounds at Bridge Bay, Canyon, Fishing Bridge RV Park, Grant Village, and Madison.
