What to do in Jackson Hole
The census says Jackson Hole is a small town. Locals know otherwise. Every night of the week features some form of entertainment.
Summer brings a continuous stream of music, particularly in Teton Village: the Grand Teton Music Festival hosts six weeks of virtuosic orchestral performances in Walk Festival Hall. Meanwhile, the Concert on the Commons stages free concerts by national touring bands on Sunday afternoons in July and August.
Beyond such special appearances, music rings out all around the valley as local bands play favorite venues, and open mics invite hidden talents. Every day of the week, sunset segues daytime adventuring to nighttime cheersing. Teton Village is home to a number of lively watering holes including the Mangy Moose Saloon, dubbed one of the 10 hottest après-ski bars in the world by Forbes Traveler. Or venture into town and tour the web of bars, where you can sidle up to a saddle barstool at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar or see that indie band you’ve been hearing about at the Pink Garter Theatre.
Nights in Jackson Hole are as fun as the days.
