Safety Month

January is Safety Month at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and we are excited to celebrate on-mountain safety with events all month long. Stay tuned here for a summary of events relating to Safety Month.  Additional events will be added soon.  Don't forget to be on the lookout for our ski hosts, who are taking on the name of the "Safety Posse" for the month!

Helmet Party at Nick Wilson's | Friday January 10th. 4-6pm.
Live music and discounts.  $2 PBR if you are wearing your helmet.

SLOW Moe: How Fast is Too Fast? | January 14 and 16 @ 11:00am each day
Skiing/Riding etiquette, slow zones and speed reduction with Tommy Moe and the Jackson Hole Ski Patrol. Location: Bridger Patrol Station

Know Before You Go | January 19 (11:00am), January 21 (10:00am) and January 23 (10:00am)
Best practices for Avalanche Safety with Video, PowerPoint and Q&A. Presented by the Jackson Hole Ski Patrol and Bridger Teton National Forest Avalanche Center. Location: Gabe Room in the Bridger Center

Avalanche Rescue Drill Demonstration | January 26, 28 and 30 at 11:00am
Hasty search demonstration by Jackson Hole Ski Patrol including avalanche beacons, RECCO units and Jackson Hole Ski Patrol Avalanche Dogs. Location: Amphitheater at the bottom of Toilet Bowl.

Know the Code Giveaway | Saturday January 11th.  11:00am-2:00pm.
Come by the tent next to the General Store.  Demonstrate your knowlege of the code and receive free Pepsi products.

Ride with Shreddie the Yeti | Saturday January 25th
"Shreddie" the Yeti will be shredding from 10am-2:00pm.  Hunt for him in any of the terrain parks, half pipe and Stash Parks.
