Camp Check-In

Camp Registration will be from 4:00pm – 6:00pm the evening before your camp begins at the rental shop in Jackson Hole Sports, located on the second floor of the Bridger Center. This event will be a great place to meet your coaches and fellow participants; there will also be a brief intro to the camp. The most convenient parking area for registration will be the Village Parking Area in front of the clocktower.  Late arrivals should check in at the Bridger Center Mountain Sports School Sales Office on the first day of camp at 8:00am.

For your convenience, we recommend staying in Teton Village. Jackson Hole Resort Lodging (800-443-8613) is an excellent option. Properties range from conveniently located studios to well-appointed private residences, many of which are ski-in/ski-out accommodations in Teton Village.

Equipment & Clothing

Due to the varied conditions and terrain on the mountain, we recommend a high performance ski that is acceptable on both hard packed snow and groomed trails.  The recent advances in ski technology will dramatically speed up your learning curve.  Wild West Camp participants will receive special discounts for demo equipment and retail merchandise at Jackson Hole Sports, located in the Bridger Center at the base of the Bridger Gondola.

When packing for your visit, remember that the weather in Jackson Hole can quickly change from beautiful and sunny to cold, harsh storm conditions.  Being prepared will allow you to enjoy our mountain in all conditions.

If for any reason your plans should change and you cannot join us for the camp, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible.  Full refunds will be given for cancellations made 30 days prior to the camp; however, for cancellations within 30 days of the camp, a $100 administrative fee will be charged. Cancellations received within 24 hours will not be refunded.

Arrive Early and Ski with Coaches

We suggest that you arrive a day or two before the camp in order to help you acclimate to Jackson and get a feel for the snow conditions and the mountain.  Many people feel more comfortable with the climate here in Jackson after a few days, especially those from low altitudes.  It is also recommended to get at least one ski day in before the camp.  Our camp coaches are available for private lessons both before and after the camp to help get you into the groove.  Remember to book them early, as they are in high demand. Click here for more information on private lessons.

Discount tickets are available for camp participants the day before camp starts, as well as the day following camp. Please visit the Mountain Sports School Sales Desk for more information.
