Winter or summer, come experience the joys of a secluded camping spot without all the hassles. The Rock Springs Yurt is nestled in a meadow at the mouth of the Rock Spings Canyon. In the summer, hike 2.5 miles to the yurt, 1,400 vertical feet above the valley floor. In the summer, ski or snowboard down to it or snowshoe up. Porters and guides are available. Bridger Teton National Forest manages campgrounds in some wonderful ares of Jackson Hole including the Red Hills and along the Snake River. There are 15 Jackson Area Campgrounds, 6 Buffalo Area campgrounds. The BTNF Teton District also has many 'dispersed' unimproved camping areas. -

Xanterra Parks & Resorts operates campgrounds at Bridge Bay, Canyon, Fishing Bridge RV Park, Grant Village, and Madison.
