Vertical Foot Club™

The Vertical Foot Club™ is a fun, exciting, and challenging way to keep track of all those runs you're racking up. Do you have what it takes to reach a million vertical feet? Vertical Foot Club members are recognized for their achievements at several levels: 100,000 feet in one week, and also lifetime totals of 300,000, 500,000, and 1,000,000 feet! And with a free day of skiing for VFC members (see below for details), you can't go wrong!

Ski The Big One!!
Ski the Big One is not a race. It is an achievement standard for accomplished skiers. If you are able to reach the outstanding mark of 1,000,000 vertical feet you will have skied the equivalent of 242 trams or nearly 200 vertical miles! The club was first introduced over 30 years ago and has over 3000 active members. JHMR honors the 350 + skiers that have reached the incredible 1 million foot goal and encourages everybody to do their best and enjoy the experience.

Go For the Gold!!
Your certificate of achievement for attaining 100,000 vertical feet counts as you Go For the Gold! Lifetime totals of 300,000, 500,000 and 1,000,000 vertical feet are rewarded with certificates of achievement and distinctive, western belt buckles.

Other Information
Every Vertical Foot Club member who skis in the current winter season and updates their records will receive one free day of skiing (per member) valid for the following season. The free day of skiing must be used in conjunction with the purchase of a multi-day (3 day or more) lift ticket the following season.

Complete the information on the Vertical Foot Club score card. The vertical feet and lift times are given for each lift. Total up the runs and vertical feet and present this scorecard to the Guest Service Center for validation.

All previous vertical foot totals must be on record with the Guest Service Center. No retroactive vertical feet will be entered. Season pass holders are not eligible. Teton County residents are not eligible. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort reserves the right to discontinue this program, and the prizes offered by this promotion without notice.
