17km of professionally groomed track!
Groomed daily with a Bombadier with Dual Track Setters which creates excellent XC and Skating Tracks. Jackson Hole Nordic Center has the widest skate lanes in the valley. We offer professional instruction in cross-country and skate skiing and we have a complete rental fleet of Nordic Equipment.

Cross Country Ski Instruction
The oldest form of skiing, documented by 4000 year old cave murals in Norway, provides one of the best ways to experience winter, improve fitness, and learn about skiing. Jackson Hole Nordic Center’s 17 kilometers of groomed track on snow-covered sagebrush ranch land offers easy skiing with optional hill trails and majestic views of the Teton range. Ski with one of our PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America) certified instructors to learn the latest and most efficient techniques for enjoying nature’s solitude and serenity.

Skate Skiing Instruction
The newest style of skiing in the Nordic family, skate skiing is a graceful and powerful technique that leaves you breathless in more ways than one. The Jackson Hole Nordic Center is particularly well suited to introduce skiers to this dynamic method of skiing with a combination of great learning terrain and expert instructors. Whether you’re skating for the first time, or are an old hand, we can help you progress to the next level. Lessons start on the hour with as many as 5 people.

Snowshoe and Cross Country Tours
USFS Naturalists lead free snowshoe nature tours twice a week, starting at the Saddlehorn Activities/JH Nordic Center. If you can walk, you can snowshoe. With a USFS Naturalist guide, you will follow our Saddlehorn Snowshoe Trail through the woods beneath Granite Ridge. Your guide can help you to understand winter ecology, animal tracks and signs, and the natural history of the area. Great for the whole family. Trail pass and snowshoeequipment required. Rentals available. Please call ahead to book a spot.

GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK Nature Ski and Snowshoe Tours
Nature ski and snowboard tours in Grand Teton National Park Cross country ski or snowshoe with a naturalist/guide beneath the majesty of the heart of the Teton Range. The user-friendly flats to Jenny Lake or the hills around Bradley and Taggart Lakes offer something for everyone. Tour includes lunch (full day), transportation, XC ski or snowshoe instruction, and natural history interpretation. Enrich your trip to the Tetons by getting out into the wilds of the park - learn about plants and animals, geology, human history, and wildlife adaptation to winter.
