Kids Ranch Rangers: Pre-school - Kindergarten (All Levels)
Rangers is a 12 week program for children ages 3 through Kindergarten. From Magic Carpet beginners to Tram skiers there is a class for every ability and energy level. Throughout the season, classes will be challenged in a fun, supportive atmosphere, with children improving their skiing skills and exploring the mountain. Each day the instructors build on the skills from the week before, with an emphasis on safety, fun and learning. Activities, drills and games are used to develop the basic fundamentals of skiing: balance, edging, rotary, and pressure. This program is available as Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Saturday sessions.
Price: $935(lunch included)

Teton Village Racers and Riders: 1st - 5th grade (Intermediate - Expert Levels)

Elementary school age children who are intermediate through expert skiers and snowboarders continue to develop their skiing and riding skills through drill oriented training and directed freeriding on Saturdays for 12 weeks. Groups train with the same coach so that kids are able to build their skills in a structured learning environment and bond with the "team". All mountain skiing/riding is the main focus with forays into park and pipe, racing and mountain awareness. TVR members are assessed by ability and aggressiveness to build a cohesive group for the winter.

*NEW THIS WINTER* Evolution Team: 3rd grade and up (Intermediate through Expert Levels)
A new exciting "Evolution" of the TVR and TFR programs! This 9-week Sunday afternoon freestyle program for children is available to intermediate through expert skiing and snowboarding abilities. No previous park or pipe experience required, just the desire to learn new tricks like 360's, jibbing rails, alley oops, hitting the stash parks and getting air. Children will be encouraged to expand their comfort zones rather than fly outside of them! Our specifically trained freestyle coaches will use tested progressions and guided discovery to develop the necessary skills to allow children to succeed at their own pace. Emphasis as always is on safety, fun and learning.
Price: $485 for TVR / TFR participants; $545 for all other participants

Teton Village Ski Team: 3rd grade & up (Advanced/Expert Levels)
Designed for advanced through expert level skiers, with a strong interest in racing. Team members must be able to execute strong parallel skiing technique on double blue runs in all conditions. Skiers of the same age and ability can develop ski racing techniques with an emphasis on drills and gate training. The coaches are experienced ski racers, certified instructors, and current on modern racing techniques. This program is for 12 weeks, all day on Saturday and half day on Sunday.

Jackson Hole Mountain Rippers: Kindergarten - 8th grade (Beginner/Intermediate Levels)
Skiers and snowboarders kindergarten through 8th grade have an opportunity to excel with kids their own age and ability level. Kids who are beginner through intermediate are coached for 9 weeks on Saturday afternoons developing their skills and exploring Jackson Hole’s versatile terrain. This program is designed as an alternative for lower level skiers and riders who want to eventually participate in the all day TVR program. Activities include costume day and other events to keep the fun in learning.

JH Anomaly Team: 6th - 12th grade (intermediate through expert levels)
Anomaly is a team of athletes aspiring to progress their overall freeriding skills. Training encompasses all aspects of the sport with an emphasis on FUN! Team members build on their all mountain skiing/riding skills, develop better mountain awareness with an introduction to avalanche education, beacon practice, and a guided backcountry tour. The program also highlights basic through advanced skills in Terrain Park, and Halfpipe. Coaches are accomplished, competitive freeriders eager to share their knowledge and experience with young athletes. Athletes are encouraged but not required to compete in local events such as:
• Dick’s Ditch Banked Slalom
• JH Junior Freeride Open
• USASA Slopestyle
• USASA Halfpipe
*Intermediate abilities are recommended but not required

ACTT I - Alpine Teaching Certification and Instructor Experience for Teens
Three days of training for an opportunity to be hired as an assistant and to take the Level 1 Certification of Professional Ski Instructors of America. You work over Christmas holidays and through the winter season. This is a great opportunity for high school students to have a fun, flexible winter job through college and beyond.
Price: $250 (includes lift tickets for training days and PSIA Level 1 exam fee)

Level I Certification Exam: TBD
Work Dates: December 28-31, additional days if available, 8:45am to 3:30pm
Pass Options: If hired, you will receive an employee 10 day pass with additional days added for more work commitment. Notes: Must be 16yrs+
ATTENTION LOCAL PARENTS AND FRIENDS…
Join the Mountain Sports School on Wednesday mornings for six weeks of skiing, commiserating, and learning more of the mountain. Many of you took a few years off from skiing. Let us help you come back. Stop worrying that your children are beginning to ski better than you. You are not alone. The main focus is learning techniques to teach your own children. We have chosen some of our best instructors to guide you through selected topics including:
•Personal Ski Improvement
•Developmental Issues – Great games to teach and realistic expectations for age and little bodies
•Bumps and Jumps – Favorite kid terrain, Terrain Park Safety, and Smart Style
•Big Mountain Tactics for skiing with Little Rippers – Route finding, Safety, real issues (bathrooms, speed control, fear, tired legs), and still keeping it fun
•Teach without being a parent – Instructors with kids teach you their survival secrets
We want you to love skiing with your kids and feel confident about their success. This six week program on Wednesdays meets at 9:30 at the top of the Gondola. We ski together as a group until 12:30. Please come to the Kids Ranch Sales office to sign up before January 15th.
Price: $325 if you have children in a MSS program; $500 if a friend

Pass Information: Junior and Student Grand Passes are available online here until October 1. After October 1, the Grand Pass® can only be purchased in conjunction with these programs.
To expedite the process on the first day, please print and fill out the liability release for each child who will be participating in any Kids Ranch local program. Please return the liability release by mail to address below or bring it on the first day of your local program.
