Race Camps

Want a strong start to the season? This camp is designed for intermediate and above skiers looking for early season training and conditioning and wanting to improve their racing skills and confidence over the entire mountain. Classic to Modern Ski Connection Demos show how skiing has changed from the Arlberg style of the early 1900s to Pepi Stiegler’s methods in the 60s, and finally to the shaped skis of today. Because today’s skis – and the skills necessary to get the most out of them -- are a little different from skis of even a few years ago (we bet you saw at least one pair of skis last season and thought the person attached to them had a snowboard strapped to each foot), we developed "Modern Turns and Techniques." This helps you understand how to utilize today’s methods and gear to ski the whole mountain, in whatever conditions Mother Nature throws your way. During this camp, we’ll ski everything the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has to offer, from gates to powder. A Giant Slalom race on the last day gives you the opportunity to use your new skills in competition.

Ski Challenge Race Camp
The Ski Challenge Race Camp is an intensive 3-day training camp culminating in a race on the last day. Training will focus on drills and gate training that will allow the racer to improve their tactics and biomechanics, both in and out of the race course. Video analysis and feedback are used extensively through the race training. The coaches for this camp have race specific training and experience and will help you achieve your fastest race course times!
