# 1 Snow in the Rockies,

Opening 4,139’ Top to Bottom this Saturday

(December 4, 2013), Teton Village, WY ––With almost 10 feet of snow blanketing the Tetons, the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) will open all of it major lifts, accessing 4,139 vertical of terrain this Saturday, December 7th.  Jackson Hole, recently voted #1 resort by SKI Magazine and Forbes, is leading the Rocky Mountain region in snow conditions.  On Friday, December 6th the Bridger Gondola, Marmot and Thunder chairlifts will open for the season, along with Casper Restaurant, Nick Wilson’s Cowboy Café and the Headwall Deli.  On Saturday the Aerial Tram and Sublette chairlift will open for the season.  Corbet’s Cabin will open for the season on Saturday serving up their famous waffles.

The storm earlier this week dropped almost two feet of snow on the upper reaches of the Tetons, and with the cold conditions that have pushed through after the front, snowmaking is in full force on the lower reaches of the mountain.  “The last storm made for great conditions for this time of year, and with value season lift pricing this is a great time to experience Jackson Hole,” stated JHMR President, Jerry Blann.
