Barry Goudreau
Barry Goudreau’s musical career started like many others, playing in high school bands and learning licks from Chicago blues albums. His career took a major turn while attending Boston University when he met recent MIT graduate Tom Scholz in college. They rehearsed at an MIT frat house and soon began to record home
grown basement tapes that would become the first “Boston” record. After 5 years of struggle and rejection, that first album went on to sell 17 million copies.

Barry worked with the band for 2 albums and 2 world tours before leaving to pursue a solo career. His solo record was released in 1980. He would later go on to record with the band “Orion the Hunter” in 1985. Barry hitched up with Boston singer Brad Delp in 1991 to record “Return to Zero” with their band RTZ. The band had a top 20 single and released two videos. Barry and Brad worked together again recently on their “Delp/Goudreau” CD.
