The two primary accessible meeting places for our adaptive ski lessons are the Brid ger Center and the Kids Ranch.
After turning into the main entrance to the Jackson Hole Resort, follow the road toward the Four Seasons Resort. At the stop sign adjacent to the main parking lot turn right. Pass the Snake Rive Lodge on your lieft and make a left turn into a narrow road just before the Four Seasons Hotel. This leads to a parking lot on the west side of the Bridger Center. At the top of the wheelchair accessible ramp is a door which opens to the 1st floor and elevator.
At the 4-way mentioned above, make a left and follow this curving road all the way to the upper parking lot (the Cody Lot). Make a right and follow above the lot, continuing under the skier bridge. Go past the Teton Club (on right) and park in one of the handicap spaces at the end of the road (Kids Ranch is on left). An elevator is located in the basement directly in front of this parking lot. Take the elevator to the top floor of the Kids Ranch which leads to our receptionists in the main lobby.
The Jackson Hole Adaptive Ski Program has been teaching individuals with disabilities how to ski since 1984. We serve people with all disabilities including, but not limited to, autism, amputees, cerebral palsy, developmentally disabled, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and visually impaired. Our staff is made up of certified adaptive ski instructors and also volunteers, who are all trained in particular disciplines. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort's program is smaller than most adaptive ski programs which enables us to focus more attention on the clients and cater to his or her specific needs. Most of our participants are return clients, with whom we have developed close and friendly relationships .
