Upper Mountain Opens for Winter 06/07 Season
BIG SNOW STORM: OPENS MAJORITY OF MOUNTAIN (Teton Village, Wyo., December 13, 2006) "The Big One" arrived at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort today, and we are not talking TGR movie! It's snowing hard, with forecasts predicting a steady 4-5 inches in the mountains daily through next week, locals can hardly contain their delight. In addition to the already open terrain off of the Bridger Gondola and on Apres Vous Mountain, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort will now open the rest of the upper mountain. Thunder Chair will open tomorrow, Sublette on Saturday and the new East Ridge Chair from the summit serving Rendezvous Bowl, shortly after. This will ensure guests can enjoy the full 4,139 vertical feet of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in plenty of time before the busy holiday season.
