40th Anniversary Winter Season Kicks Off
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) will open for its 40th season tomorrow, Saturday 2nd December. In celebration daily adult lift tickets will be just $40 until Friday 8th December. Opening day will include Teewinot and Apres Vous lifts and the majority of runs off these two high speed quads. A combination of natural and man-made snow on the 2,170 vertical feet off Apres Vous has created a solid base and conditions on the groomed trails are good. In addition to these lifts and terrain, JHMR will open all base area food and beverage outlets, Mountain Sports School and Kids Ranch programs, including the Magic Carpet. The ticket office will be open from 8.00am onwards for season passes and day tickets. Half day tickets will be available from 12.30pm onwards. "I look forward to getting this 128 day season underway. We are just one or two more storms off opening the upper mountain and early reports are that the skiing is good. Saturday will be a good warm up weekend. We are grateful to local residents for sticking with us and buying a record number of season passes this year and we look forward to seeing many of them on Saturday," commented Jerry Blann, President, JHMR.
