Summer in Teton Village 2007
(Teton Village, Wyo. Spring 2007) Teton Village is a relaxed, resort setting just one mile from Grand Teton National Park. Surrounded by open space and huge granite mountains, it offers unbeatable views of the mountains and valley from the Bridger Gondola, heart pumping activities, western adventures, a resident summer symphony, weekend events and incredible spa, dining and hotel choices.
Kids never want to leave - why? Just show them the bungee jumping trampoline, climbing wall, fully stocked trout pond, frisbee golf, gurgling streams to play in, and plentiful ice-cream!
Plan your day to include hiking, mountain biking, climbing, fishing, tandem paragliding and that's just before lunch or even easier, hire an Adventure Guide for the day. Ride the Bridger Gondola up nearly 3000 vertical feet to experience breathtaking views of Jackson Hole and the surrounding mountains. Kick back with a refreshing latte, lunch or a special dinner at the newly constructed Headwall Deli or Couloir Fine Dining Restaurant at the top of the Gondola, then cruise down either by foot or Gondola for a session in the spa.
For guest convenience, activity multi-tickets can be purchased along with all day lift access passes.
Teton Village is just a quick 40 minute drive from Jackson Hole airport and 20 minutes from downtown Jackson. For the first time Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is operating the Bridger Gondola, which rises 2,800 vertical feet to its top station at 9,095 feet. In eight minutes you can leave the valley riding high above Bridger Teton National Forest and enter a high-alpine, tundra setting. The Gondola provides quick access for sightseeing, hiking, paragliding, rock climbing and backpacking with incredible views of Jackson Hole and Grand Teton NP. Eagle eyed visitors keep a look out for moose, elk, bear and small mammals who all call the slopes of JHMR home.
Seven miles of singletrack augmented with a dual-track system offer 15 different technical mountain bike trails. Teewinot Chairlift provides uphill loading for those looking for a lift and the skill building terrain park is fun for all levels. Expert riders can make it to the upper mountain or for a more leisurely pace, ride the Moose-Wilson Pathway directly into Grand Teton National Park. Full suspension, hybrid, kids bikes, bike trailers and road bikes are available to rent at Jackson Hole Sports.
Epic hikes in the Tetons begin and end in Teton Village. Whether hiking the Teton Crest Trail or climbing over 4000 feet to the top of Rendezvous Mountain, or just strolling along the Valley Trail into Grand Teton National Park -. Trails are available from the Village to the Gondola summit and higher, those who hike up can ride the Gondola down for free!
Couloir is far from ordinary dining. It's a total dining experience like no other in Jackson Hole. A friendly greeting and an exciting gondola ride start the experience. Breathtaking views entertain diners as they quietly ascend to 9,095 feet to the new Bridger Restaurants building. Warm hospitality, a beautiful atmosphere, magnificent scenery, fine western cuisine, and superb service await the Couloir diner. Couloir will be open daily for lunch and Thursday-Saturday for dinner.
Located at the top of the Bridger Gondola at 9095 feet. Menu items include freshly made sandwiches, ice cream bars and fresh baked sweet goodies. Perfect for the start or end of a hike, drinks at the end of a day's adventure or after dinner treats! Open Daily from 10.00am while Gondola is operating.

The Crystal Springs Pond in Teton Village is a low-key place to learn to cast before hitting the primetime on the Snake River! Let our activities desk in the Bridger Center arrange a casting lesson or book a guided fly fishing trip on the Snake River.
Sightseeing becomes an experience from the back of a bronco! From Teton Village, ride north into Grand Teton National Park, explore Granite Canyon, or track wildlife on the Valley Trail.
Rapidly becoming a rave across America, disc golf is a great way to add excitement to a stroll through the woods. Teton Village's nine hole course is free and fun for the entire family.
Spend an unforgettable night in the Tetons at the Rock Springs Yurt. A yurt is a round Mongolian tent dating back to the days of Ghengis Kahn. Ours has a wood-burning stove, 8 bunk beds, a kitchen and a big dining table. We've stocked it with sleeping bags, foam mattresses, plates, utensils, gas lanterns and amenities such as wine glasses to make your stay comfortable and fun.
