Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Saddened by Coombs News

(Teton Village, WY., April 4, 2006) - Everybody at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort learned today of the tragic accident involving Doug Coombs in France yesterday.

"We are all in a state of shock," commented Connie Kemmerer, JHMR owner and friend of the late Coombs. "For me, Doug was Jackson Hole. He had no idea how many people he impacted by his teachings either directly through Steep and Deep Camps and as a backcountry guide or indirectly by his inspirational adventures. The staff at JHMR all had so much respect for Doug and what he was able to teach us and our guests. He will be missed every day." She added.

"Our heart-felt condolences go out to the family and friends of Doug. I know all our employees are extremely saddened by this." commented Jerry Blann, President, JHMR.
