No matter what season you visit or which sport you enjoy, one thing remains the same at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort: this mountain is like nothing you have experience before! As the snow melts off the mountain, an exciting playground is revealed, with a variety of activities for guests of all ages and fitness levels.

Summer provides flexibility to customize programs to meet your group’s expectations and desires. Many of the activities offered can be combined to create exciting programs tailored to enhance your group’s overall experience. In addition, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort offers many exclusive group activities and unique catering venues in the summer. Our staff of longtime locals provides outstanding customer service along with their insight and knowledge on Jackson Hole’s “best kept secrets”, both on and off the mountain.

SUMMER ACTIVITIES
JACKSON HOLE MOUNTAIN RESORT

Bridger Gondola Rides
The gondola is not only a fun ride with spectacular views, but it is also an ideal starting point for a variety of activities: guided and unguided hikes, backpacking trips, paragliding, rock climbing and wildlife viewing.

Hiking
Jackson Hole Mountain Resorts offers a wide variety of terrain for guests to explore the natural beauty of Jackson Hole. Trails range from the 0.3 mile Summit Loop at the Rendezvous to the 7.2 mile Mountain Trail which takes guests from the top of Rendezvous back to Teton Village.

Guided Hiking
If you are hesitant hiking on your own or you wish to venture out into unknown territory, reserve one of our guides to show you around. Guides will also provide you with information regarding Jackson’s natural history, flora and fauna, and wildlife along the way.

Mountain Biking
Rendezvous Mountain is one of the most thrilling mountain biking settings you’ll ever find. From daring single-track to easygoing access roads, our trails offer something for everyone. You can also ride the valley bike path from Teton Village north to Grand Teton National Park or south to the Aspens and Wilson.

Guided Mountain Bike Tours
Hire a guide to lead you group along the many mountain biking trails Teton Village and Jackson Hole offer. Guides will take your guests to trails suitable for their skill level and ensure that everyone has a memorable experience.

Bike Rentals
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has a variety of bikes for rent, including mountain and hybrid bikes for adults and junior bikes for children. Child trailers that attach to an adult bike are also available for rent. All bike rentals include helmets.

Rock Climbing Tower
Sponsored by Mountain Dew, the climbing tower is located in the heart of Teton Village, under the Aerial Tram and next to Crystal Spring Pond. This beautiful outdoor setting is a fun place for people of all ages to experience the sport of rock climbing in a safe, unthreatening environment.

Rock Climbing
When the snow melts off Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, rock faces are revealed, exposing first-rate climbing terrain. Join world renowned Exum Mountain Guides to experience the exhilaration of rock climbing. Accessing terrain via the aerial tram, guides take clients ranging in ability from beginner to expert to the exciting rock faces Rendezvous Mountain offers.

Bungee Trampoline
Ever wonder what it is like to be propelled 24 feet in the air?  The Bungee Trampoline, located next to the Bridger Center, utilizes a trampoline and bungee cord system to provide exciting sports jumping that is safe for all ages.

Disc Golf
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is the home of an exciting 9 hole disc golf course. The course winds around the lower half of the mountain resort and provides a great activity for groups of all ages and athletic ability to participate in together

Fishing
Stocked with fish, Crystal Springs Pond is a convenient place for families to get a taste of what fishing is all about. Fishing poles for children and adults are available for rent or you may bring your own pole and fish for free.

Paragliding
One of the most awesome ways to experience the grandeur of the Tetons is from the sky. No experience is necessary to ride tandem with a guide and soar hundreds of feet above the Teton Mountain Range. Tandem paragliding rides are offered from the top of Rendezvous Mountain, with expert private instruction also available.

Horseback Riding
Tired of riding around Jackson in a car? Then use the same method of travel as Jackson’s original locals- horseback. A variety of trail rides are available for riders of all ages and ability levels. From Teton Village, you can ride north into Grand Teton National Park or look for wildlife on the valley trail. Horseback riding is the way to truly experience the romanticism of the old west.

Kids Ranch Day Camp, Wrangler Daycare and Team Extreme
Give kids of all ages a day off from their parents and enroll them in the Kids Ranch. Kids participate in exiting, age appropriate activities such as hiking, science projects, arts and crafts, environmental education, biking, and orienteering. This is a fun way for kids to learn new skills and meet other kids.

Wrangler Daycare is available for children 6 months through 2 years old. Reservations are require for daycare only and recommended for all other Kids Ranch programs. The Kids Ranch is open Monday thru Friday, 9am to 5pm. Lunch is included for all age groups.

Kids Night Out
While parents enjoy a special night out, kids can spend the evening at the Kids Ranch. Similar to the day programs, Kids Night Out provides kids with a chaperoned environment to meet other kids and enjoy an evening doing fun activities together. Kids Night Out operates on select evenings. Dinner is included.

Retail
Visit our retail outlets located at Nick Wilson’s, Corbet’s Cabin and the Resort Store on the town square for official Jackson Hole logo gear as well as many other unique products.

Mountain Dining
Be sure to refuel yourself while you are enjoying your day at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Stop by Nick Wilson’s Cowboy Café for tasty barbeque food or pick up a sandwich at the top of the tram in Corbet’s Cabin.

Mountain Venues
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort offers some of the most unique mountain venues in the area. Various private parties, weddings, rehersal dinners, and events have been held at the mountain resort. From a log cabin in the woods to a beautiful outside deck, there is surely an exciting location to host any event! Please see the Mountain Venue Information for more specifics on locations.

For the ULTIMATE experience:
Custom Kids Programs
While parents are in meetings or out enjoying free time, kids can join our Kids Ranch staff for fun-filled activities just for them. Modeled after our day camp and Team Extreme program, kids participate in a variety of activities including biking, hiking, climbing, cookouts, arts and crafts and science projects. The Kids Ranch can also organize a special Kids Night Out for children while parents enjoy dinner or one of the many exciting evening activities Jackson Hole offers. Children of all ages can be accommodated, and meals and snacks are provided.

Custom Adult Programs
Utilizing the unique facilities at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and in Teton Village, a custom program can be created to meet your group’s requests. Orienteering, mountain adventure and more mellow nature experience tours are just some of the special programs that can be developed.

Private Bungee Trampoline
Our bungee trampolines are available for private rentals.  Come laugh and have a good time while your group flips and jumps into the air.

Private Climbing Wall
The Mountain Dew Climbing wall is available for private rentals. Not only does this option afford guests maximum climbing time, but group challenges utilizing the climbing wall add extra excitement to any program.


Final Note: Please remember that mountain weather can change in a hurry, so be prepared when you are participating in outdoor activities. You should always carry a warm layer of clothing, plenty of water and wear sunscreen.
