Community Outreach
• Each year JHMR donates to many local environmental groups.
In 2005/6 JHMR donated $150,000 via cash, in-kind or voluntary work hours contributions to such organizations as the Teton Science School, Jackson Hole Land Trust, Habitat for Humanity, Friends of Pathways. Each year on Sustainable Slopes Day JHMR hosts a booth at the mountain with information and representatives from over 15 different groups, such as the Bridger-Teton National Forest, the Murie Center and the Teton Sustainability Project.
JHMR supports staff members to donate time to the non-profit organization of their choice . During 2005/6 JHMR staff either served on the board of or gave volunteer hours to the following organizations:
