Summer Yurt Information
The experience of a lifetime, our YURT offers guests an intimate excursion into Jackson Hole’s legendary backcountry terrain. Enjoy gourmet meals prepared for you and spend the day or night among friends in rustic accommodation nestled in a lodgepole pine forest.
The YURT is located at the base of Rock Springs Canyon and is accessible from the top or bottom backcountry gates, East Ridge Chairlift, or by a 1-2 hour trek/ski-in from the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. The YURT places you in the heart of the Bridger Teton National Forest, offering quiet solitude in pristine wilderness.

Ski to the yurt and enjoy a gourmet lunch served in the spectacular setting of Rock Springs Canyon.
Don’t want to carry your own gear? Hire a porter to carry your personal belongings and food for overnight trips to and from the Yurt.
Make your backcountry experience more memorable by hiring a guide to lead you on a tour of the world famous terrain of Jackson Hole.

Lunch reservations can be scheduled between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Plan one hour for lunch and two to four hours for the round trip.
Meet at 2:30 p.m. at the Ski School Chalet and arrive at the YURT around 4:30 p.m.
Leave the YURT when the Mountain opens the following morning.
