Gil Hoffman is the chief political correspondent and analyst for The Jerusalem Post and he is making his first trip to Wyoming. Hoffman who is well-connected to Israeli and Palestinian leaders, has interviewed every major figure across the Israeli political spectrum, is a regular analyst on CNN and Al-Jazeera will be speaking Thursday, March 7th at 5:30 p.m. at the Teton Mountain Lodge.

Called "The most optimistic man in Israel" by Israel Television, Hoffman's writing and TV appearances provide a behind the scenes look at the intrigue and humor in the Israeli political arena.

“There is so much bias against Israel in the media and at the UN, it’s long overdue for Wyomingites to hear the unadulterated truth about the situation in Israel from a knowledgeable source” said Rabbi Zalman Mendelsohn, who is organizing the lecture.

Hoffman was raised in Chicago, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northwestern University's School of Journalism and wrote for the Miami Herald and Arizona Republic before moving to Israel. Hoffman has lectured in eight countries and 45 US states. He lives in Jerusalem with his wife, and two children.
