Once upon a time, Jackson Hole was considered a one horse, rugged outpost known for steep skiing and a place where ski bums sustained themselves by exclusively snacking on saltines. Thoughts and approach to food have since evolved and Jackson Hole is now recognized as an impressive, established and ever-emerging culinary destination in and of itself. Within this varied and young culinary landscape, it’s clear that Fine Dining Restaurant Group is a category leader in putting Jackson Hole on the food map.

Fine Dinging Restaurant Group owners Gavin Fine and Chef Roger Freedman have been instrumental in ushering in a new take on ski town food. Along with good friend and chef, Roger, Gavin opened the Rendezvous Bistro in 2001 to great success with both the local community and visitors, staking new territory in his service standards, thoughtful food delivery, and dynamic spaces.  Building on the instant success of “The Bistro,” Gavin went on to create the Fine Dining Restaurant Group, including Bistro Catering (2003), Q Roadhouse & Brewing Co. (2006), Il Villaggio Osteria (2008), The Kitchen (2011), Park City’s Silver (2011), Bin22 (2012) and Roadhouse Brewing Co. (2012).

Since the founding of Rendezvous Bistro in 2001, Fine Dining Restaurant Group’s establishments have become synonymous with quality, value, comfort, innovation and a groundbreaking approach to going out to eat in a cowboy town. All restaurants in the group umbrella are favored by locals and visitors from all over the world. Expertly crafted menus emphasize simplicity, seasonal flavors and ingredients. Restaurants running from the heart of downtown Jackson to the base of Teton Village are bustling, lively delicious places to dine in any season.

This fall, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Fine Dining Restaurant Group are working to bring the flavors of Wyoming to downtown Manhattan. Born out of Gavin and Roger’s dream to one day present at the James Beard House, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Fine Dining Restaurant Group will present Jackson Hole: From the Range on October 2nd. It’s a passion project that has been in the works for several years. After being invited to showcase the area’s culinary talents in 2014, Gavin and Roger were excited to partner with Chef Wes to develop and highlight the many flavors of the area at this October’s event.
