AHHH IT’S THE LAST WEEKEND IN FEBRUARY-WHAT DOES THAT MEAN???  It means that we all need to carpe diem and carpe noctem til the clock turns March. The best way to seize every moment is by waking up with a smile on your face, hitting the slopes, and then attending any of the fun local events listed below.  Have fun, be safe, and look both ways before crossing the street!

Après @ Nick Wilson’s Presented by Bud Light

  • Location:  Nick Wilson’s Cowboy Café in Teton Village
  • Time: Sunday, March 1st from 4-6 pm
  • Information: DJ VerT-OnE $1 off Bud and Bud Light Great Prizes and Giveaways
  • THE INSIDE SCOOP:  There are a few ways that you can kick March off right.  Wake up and say “Rabbit Rabbit” before you say anything else (I don’t know…someone told me in 3rd grade that it’s good luck), get a group of friends out to The Village, shred all day, and then head over to Nick’s for the last Apres session in this awesome event series sponsored by Bud Light.  If you say “Rabbit Rabbit,” maybe you’ll be SUPER lucky and win one of the great prizes.  May the odds be ever in your favor!

NICKS3_FINAL_OUTLINEDMoose Hockey Game vs. Cleveland
Location: Snow King Arena
Time: Friday, February 27th and Saturday, February 28th at 7:30
Information: Tickets are $9 at the door, $5 with proof of JHMR Grand Pass
THE INSIDE SCOOP: Moose games are ALWAYS a fun time.  I’ll be there on Friday night, so if you’re not having fun, just find me and I’ll tell you a couple of knock knock jokes that I know.  Then we can go watch the game up against the boards and get kind of nervous every time there’s a fight near us.  Doesn’t this sound fun?  I know.

MOOSE

Live Music On the Square
Location: The Silver Dollar Bar in The Wort Hotel
Time: Friday, February 27th and Saturday, February 28th at 7:30
Information: Boondocks – Americana/Folk/Country Blues
THE INSIDE SCOOP:  The Silver Dollar Bar is a local favorite and a great place to ease into your evening.  The Boondocks are a really talented band, and if you play your cards your right, you might get asked to dance!  If you don’t want to dance, just grab a drink and find a seat so that you can cheer on the dancers.  Also-The quesadillas are awesome.

Boondocks

Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr.

THE INSIDE SCOOP:  I used to perform in these musicals when I was young and they are really impressive productions.  This is a great family event and a perfect way to support community arts. AND! If you’re reading this and you’re under the age of 3…  a) Wow you’re very advanced for your age!  b) You get to attend the show for free!

WyoBass
Location: The Town Square Tavern
Time: Saturday, February 28th at 10 pm
Information: DJs Spartan and Just Kenny spin electro, house, dubstep and hits.
THE INSIDE SCOOP:  The Tavern is the best place to be this weekend after 10 pm.  It’s right downtown and when you’re done hitting the dance floor, you can walk one block away and grab a DELICIOUS slice of pizza at Pinky G’s.
