Me oh my.  It’s weekend two of March Radness in Jackson Hole and I’m pleased to report that last week was not just rad, it was super rad.  If you didn’t make it to any of the events, have no fear because there’s another great lineup of concerts and other events coming atcha.   Have fun, be safe, and don’t take any wooden nickels (I don’t know…my dad used to say that).

  • Veuve Clicquot Champagne Dinner
Location:  The Four Seasons in Teton Village
  • Time:  Thursday, March 12th at 7 pm
  • Information: Please join us for a Veuve Clicquot Champagne Dinner with Special Guest Veuve Clicquot Winemaker Delphine Laborde
  • SHELLIE’S RAD INSIGHT: Ya know what folks?  Sometimes I feel a bit like Iggy Azalea and want to get *fancy* on a Thursday night.  If you’re in that mood today, you’re in SERIOUS luck because this event at The Four Seasons will be elegant, informative, with a hint of bubbles.  There are still tickets left!

  • Sneak Attack at Town Square Tavern
Location: The Town Square Tavern in downtown Jackson Hole
  • Time:  Friday, March 13th at 10 pm
  •  Information: Members of Sneaky Pete & the Secret Weapons join forces with Uncle Stack & the Attack.
  • SHELLIE’S RAD INSIGHT: I LOVE IT when two things are included in one package.  Peanut Butter in an M&M? YUM! A fashionable ring that can also gauge your mood? AWESOME!  I especially love it when two really talented bands unite to create the most musically stimulating night ever.  Sneak Attack’s performance will be worth your time, so put on a sassy graphic tee and head downtown.town square
  • Screen Door Porch at Hayden’s Post
Location:  Hayden’s Post in The Snow King Resort Hotel
  • Time: Friday, March 13th at 9 pm
  • Information: Screen Door Porch delivers a Wyoming-grown fusion of soulful Americana, Roots-Rock and Country-Blues that has been likened to “Gillian Welch meets The Band, with Ryan Adams and Bonnie Raitt hanging out backstage” (605 Magazine). Electrified Porch music, that is. The core female/male singer-songwriter duo of Seadar Rose & Aaron Davis thrive in a space that houses colorable harmonies, a diverse bag of acoustic & electric instrumentation, and “a sort of Lennon/McCartney arrangement and get it right every time” (Americana UK).
  • SHELLIE’S RAD INSIGHT: I love screened in porches because they allow you to enjoy a cold beverage outside even if it’s rainy or buggy.  Though that opinion has nothing to do with the band per se, I think that they named their band Screen Door Porch because they have their finger(s) on the pulse of what’s cool and aesthetically pleasing.  I really like Hayden’s venue/delicious food, so it would make sense to head over for a late dinner and then sip on a drink when the bank starts to rock out.

Jackson Hole Moose in the BDHL Finals

  • Time:  Friday, March 13th at 4 and 7:30 pm, Saturday, March 14th at 7:30 pm

  • SHELLIE’S RAD INSIGHT: Ugh, the last hockey games ever.  Until next season.  I’m pretty sad because I really like being a social butterfly and the Moose games are the ideal place to chit-chat (and OMG WATCH SPORTS!!!).

  • Shopping!
Location:  Hoback Sports, JH Sports, and Teton Village Sports
  • Time: March 13th-April 5th
  • Information:  Head out to all 3 stores for some of the best deals on this year’s winter merchandise.
  • SHELLIE’S RAD INSIGHT:  I’ll be honest–I’ve already gone to the stores and scouted out what I need to add to my wardrobe.  I’m not going to tell you what I want, for fear that you’ll agree and snipe my size, BUT I will say that the deals are REAL and the fashion is on point.
