Jackson Hole enjoys many visitors from Australia each year, with a large percentage of Aussies coming in January in line with their holiday schedules. Australia Day is celebrated annually on January 26th and to get in on the fun, we decided to celebrate Australia Day with our Aussie friends yesterday at Nick Wilson’s.

A beautiful bluebird day in Jackson Hole 1/26/15 had everyone in the mood to celebrate, but the Aussies kicked it up a notch by donning all sorts of great attire. This group shows their Australian spirit on the mountain, soaking up the sunshine above a valley inversion.

Signs of Aussie pride were seen all over the mountain:

After all of the on-mountain fun, the crowds migrated to Nick Wilson’s, which is “Down Under the Tram.”

Inside of Nick Wilson’s the free beer was flowing, while Australian décor and music helped the Aussies (and non-Aussies) celebrate in style.

Vegemite Toast, Meat Pies and Sausage Rolls added to the Australian flair.
